How it works

From dead battery to driving again in four steps

No towing and no waiting room. The whole job happens where your car is parked.

  1. 1

    Call or WhatsApp

Tell us the car and share your location pin. You get the battery options and a firm quote before anyone sets off.

  2. 2

    The van comes to you

The nearest technician leaves with the right battery on board. In Al Warqa that is usually 20–35 minutes.

  3. 3

    Test, then fit

We test the old battery and the alternator first. If it needs replacing, the new one is fitted in about 15 minutes with your car's settings kept.

  4. 4

    Warranty and recycling

You get a warranty of up to 24 months in writing. We take the old battery away for proper recycling at no charge.

Battery types

AGM, EFB or flooded: which battery does your car take?

The right type is decided by the car, not by preference. Fit a lower type than the car was built with and it will fail early, sometimes within months.

  • MF

    Flooded (maintenance-free)

The standard sealed lead-acid battery. Plates sit in liquid electrolyte. Simple, proven and the right choice for cars without start-stop.

Common on: Most Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi and older Korean cars

  • EFB

    Enhanced Flooded Battery

A flooded battery with reinforced plates and a polyester scrim that holds the active material in place. Takes roughly twice the start cycles of a standard battery.

Common on: Entry-level start-stop cars and high-mileage city cars

  • AGM

    Absorbent Glass Mat

The electrolyte is held in glass-fibre mats, so the battery is sealed and spill-proof. Recovers charge quickly and copes with heavy electronics.

Common on: BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Range Rover and most premium start-stop cars

  • Li

    Lithium 12V (low-voltage)

A small lithium battery that runs the computers in many newer EVs and plug-in hybrids. Lighter and longer-lived, but specific to each car.

Common on: Newer Tesla, BYD and several Chinese EVs

Why batteries fail

Why car batteries die so fast in Dubai

A battery that lasts five years in Europe usually gives two to three here. Heat does most of the damage quietly, and the failure only shows on the morning the car will not start.

2–3 yrs

typical battery life in UAE heat, against 4–5 years in mild climates

Rule of thumb: battery life roughly halves for every 8–10°C above 25°C.

  1. 01

    Under-bonnet heat

Summer engine bays sit far above the air temperature. Heat speeds up grid corrosion and evaporates the water in the electrolyte.

  2. 02

    Short trips

A five-minute school run in Al Warqa takes more out of the battery than the alternator can put back.

  3. 03

    Long parking

Alarms, trackers and control units keep drawing power. Three weeks parked during summer travel can flatten a healthy battery.

  4. 04

    Heavy electrical load

AC on full, cooled seats, dashcams and phone chargers at idle leave little current for charging.

  5. 05

    Loose or corroded terminals

A poor connection stops the battery charging fully and makes a good battery behave like a dead one.

  6. 06

    Charging faults

A weak alternator undercharges and a faulty regulator overcharges. Either one ruins a new battery in months.

Quick check

What is your car doing right now?

Pick the symptom that matches. You get the likely cause and what to do next, in plain words.

Almost certainly a flat or failed battery

Rapid clicking is the starter relay trying with too little power. A jump start will get you going, and a test will show whether the battery can still hold charge.

Battery care

How to protect your car battery in the UAE

None of this makes a battery last forever. It does buy you the extra six months that turn a roadside failure into a planned replacement.

  1. 1

    Test it before summer

A two-minute test in April or May shows whether the battery will survive August.

  2. 2

Give it one long drive a week

Thirty minutes at steady speed recharges what a week of short trips has taken out.

  3. 3

Park under cover when you can

A carport or basement keeps the battery several degrees cooler than open sun.

  4. 4

Switch everything off before the engine

AC, lights and screens left on put the full load on the battery at the next start.

  5. 5

Keep the terminals clean and tight

Wipe off white or green crust and check the clamps do not move by hand.

  6. 6

Do not sit with the engine off and the AC fan on

Twenty minutes waiting outside school with accessories running is a common way to need a jump start.

  7. 7

    Plan the replacement

Past two and a half years, have it checked at every service and change it on your terms.

The Patrol would not start after Fajr, only clicking. I sent my location on WhatsApp and the technician was at the villa in about half an hour. He tested first, showed me the reading, then changed the battery in the driveway and took the old one with him.

I was sure I needed a new battery. The technician tested it and said it was fine, the interior light had been left on. He jump started the car and told me to drive for half an hour. I appreciated that he did not try to sell me anything.

Car was dead in the basement of our building. They asked for the model year before coming, so the right battery was already on the van. Fitting took around twenty minutes. Paid by card on the spot and the invoice came on WhatsApp.

The dealer could not see me for several days, so I tried these instead. He fitted an AGM battery in the boot of the X3 and registered it with a tablet while I watched. I used Tabby to split the payment, which went through without any fuss.

Short and simple. The battery died outside my building, I sent a pin, they came and replaced it, and I was not late for the school pickup. They showed me the manufacturing date on the new battery before fitting it, which nobody had done for me before.

My RX had been slow to start for a week and I kept ignoring it. The test showed the battery was weak but the alternator was fine. They replaced it at home, and the clock and radio stations were still set afterwards.

FAQ

Car battery questions, answered straight

Short answers to what drivers ask us most. If yours is not here, message us and a technician will reply.

How fast can you reach me in Al Warqa?

Usually 20–35 minutes from the moment you confirm, anywhere in Al Warqa 1 to 4. The van leaves as soon as we have your location pin and car details. Traffic on Tripoli Street at school times, or heavy rain, can add a little, and we tell you if it does.

Is delivery and fitting really free?

Yes, when you buy the battery from us, delivery to your location and fitting are included, with no separate call-out fee. The quote you get on WhatsApp before the technician sets off is the full amount. Testing the old battery first and taking it away for recycling are part of the same visit.

How do I know I need a new battery and not just a jump start?

You cannot be sure without a test, which is why we test before we sell. As a guide, a battery that went flat because a light was left on usually recovers after a jump start and a proper drive. One that cranks slowly or needs a second boost within days is normally finished.

Which battery brands do you carry?

We stock Varta, Bosch, Amaron, ACDelco, Exide, Energizer, Solite, Duracell, Panasonic, Fiamm, Tudor and Hyundai Mobis. They come in flooded maintenance-free, EFB and AGM types, in the DIN and JIS sizes most cars in Dubai use. Tell us your car and we will say which of them fit it.

Do you replace batteries in basement parking?

Yes, basement and multi-storey parking is routine work for us. The tester, booster pack and battery are carried to the car by hand, so the van does not need to fit under the height barrier. Let building security know we are coming and send us the parking level and bay number.

Do you work at night and on Fridays and public holidays?

Yes, we are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including Fridays, Eid and other public holidays. You can call or WhatsApp at three in the morning and someone will answer. Night calls in Al Warqa are often reached a little sooner because the roads are clear.

What warranty do I get?

You get a warranty of up to 24 months, depending on the battery brand and model. The exact period is written on your invoice or warranty card. It covers manufacturing defects confirmed by our test. It does not cover damage from a faulty alternator, lights left on or physical damage.

Can I pay with Tabby or Tamara?

Yes, you can split the payment with Tabby or Tamara, as well as paying by card or cash. Approval is decided by Tabby or Tamara at the time, under their own terms. If it is not approved, you can switch to card or cash before the battery is fitted.

Do you fit AGM batteries for start-stop cars and register them?

Yes, we carry AGM and EFB batteries for start-stop cars and register the new battery with a diagnostic tool where the car requires it. A start-stop car should get the same technology it left the factory with. A standard flooded battery in its place fails early and brings up start-stop warnings.

How long does a car battery last in Dubai?

Most car batteries in Dubai last around two to three years, noticeably less than in cooler countries. Heat under the bonnet corrodes the plates and dries out the electrolyte, and short trips never recharge the battery fully. A car driven daily on longer runs and parked in shade tends to reach the upper end.

What happens to my old battery?

We take it away and send it for recycling as part of the visit. A car battery is mostly lead, plastic and acid, and most of it can be recovered and reused, so it should never be left by a bin. If you prefer to keep it, tell us before the technician sets off.

Do you cover areas outside Al Warqa?

Yes, we also cover the neighbouring communities, including Mirdif, Nad Al Hamar, International City, Dragon Mart, Al Rashidiya, Warsan and Al Khawaneej. Arrival takes a little longer than inside Al Warqa, and we give you an estimate for your exact location when you message us.

Battery trouble in Al Warqa? We are already nearby.

Send your location and car model. You get a firm quote first, then a technician at your door in 20–35 minutes with the right battery.
